How to wax a silver (metallic paint ) car?

Thank youHow to wax a silver (metallic paint ) car?
Depends on what method and wax you are using. If by hand, I think it's self explanatory. By machine, you'll want to apply a thin layer of wax, then buff off with a microfiber towel.

If it's liquid wax (aka most of the ones in auto stores) then you can get away with doing the whole car before buffing. If it's paste wax, you'll need to wax the car panel by panel, buffing after every panel is covered.

For a panel about a square foot, use about a half table spoon (for lack of better description) amount of wax. Apply over the entire surface, and buff off when you feel you've applied a thin film.

Try to use 2 microfibers. One to apply the wax and a seperate one to buff it off.How to wax a silver (metallic paint ) car?
Buy the wax and usually the waxing sponge comes with it....

Starting on the hood, in tight circular clockwise motions, cover the entire hood and let dry. While it's drying, continue on to the other panels of the car making sure you do NOT get it on anything BUT the paint (avoid getting it into small grooves as this is hard to remove).

Note: Do not do this in direct sunlight.

Once you've covered all the panels of the car, let the car dry until the wax come off in flakes. Then with a terry cloth, again in tight circular motions, start to rub off the wax (starting with the hood again).
