depends on the accessories mounted like:
RIms, door handles, side mirrors ... etc
black looks nice with nickles
black metallic or black pearle metallic need no nickle (only blacks)

Metallic is referring to the metal flakes in the paint. If you look close at a car with metallic paint you can see the flakes in it. If there is no metallic flakes it can be as shiny and tend to look deeper'; than metallic paints. Hope I have been helpful.
