You should be able to buy (polyester) felt in fabric stores at least, and perhaps in some craft or hobby stores.

If you want to paint on top of baked polymer clay, you can use any metallic paint as long as it's acrylic (craft paint or artists' acrylics). Painting over polymer clay usually involves 2 coats (or a primer plus one coat), and wiping the clay down with alcohol before painting to remove any oils that could act as resists to the paint.





There are other materials that can give metallic effects to polymer clays though, if you're interested, like metallic powders and waxes, and metallic leaf, etc.

If you have an A.C. Moore's in your area. They have it. I know for certain, and maybe Michael's.
