Metallic Green Hyundai repair without spray painting?

I have a 1998 Hyundai Excel, metallic green, the paintwork, bonet, roof, is going white, appears the lacquer has faded from sun. It's going to cost me $1,000 to get spraypainted, but seeing car is only worth $4,000, is there a solution? Help.. Much appreciated any suggestionsMetallic Green Hyundai repair without spray painting?

when you planing to use the car for some more years than get it a new paint job and i really admire the metallic grey.......my first car was hyundai Accent it is the Excell here in Europe and it was 1996 and it was dark green metallic...........the paint wasnt fading but it had a lot of marks on it......i got it resprayed and i chose dark grey metallic.......i used it one more year and the i sold it and bought my Honda Civic 2 litre..........but you can just get it polished and they cen polish out the white marks from sun........try to contact some laquer.........he will help........
First of all, there is no way that is worth 4grand...Not happenin

Even in mint condition with rims and a New paint job...no. BUT if it really is as you say worth $4,000, it is worth spendin the $1,000 to have the thing painted and recleared.

Look at it this way...you plan on keepin it for 20 more years??? If so then it is totally worth it, cause if you only plan on keepin it for a short amt of time(five years or less), than just suck it up and let it rust out.

Good Luck!!!
