Where can I buy metallic gold paint?

It seems as if Benjamin Moore and most stores only have homely colors and nothing too bright. :(Where can I buy metallic gold paint?
It depends on what kind of paint you want.





If you want an acrylic craft paint (like for a small project) I would try a craft store like Michael's.





If you have a bigger project and you are looking for spray paint I would look at Home Depot or Lowe's. They should have gold spray paint in cans. Rustoleum (sp?) makes a good metallic paint.





If you are looking for a gold paint for an art project you can usually find metallic gold paint at your local Art store. It should be available in oils and higher quality acrylics.

Modern Masters makes a waterbased metallic paint collection which comes in 40 colors, everything from translucent to opaque. The have 4-5 shades of gold alone. Visit their website and search for a dealer near you.


We sell their line and so does another retailer near me, if nothing else, you can find the nearest one to you and have them ship it to you.


It's very good paint, if you are applying it to a wall, you will want to roll or spray it, do not brush it for it will have brush marks in it.

Its made by Crowns it might be worth doing a search on the net for Crowns paint to see if they do it in gold. its about 拢19 for a big pot 2.5l i think but i got a small pot For 拢2.50
Home Depot sells a paint called 24 Karat Gold that is very pretty and looks gold on the wall.
