If you want to paint an engine metallic and want it to last the best choice would to have it powder coated. All Components to be powder coated on your engine need to be bare and un-assembled. Powder Coating would be best done in the pre-machining stage after the parts have been tested for cracks %26amp; chemically cleanedIs there a good automotive metallic flake paint that can last being painted on an engine?
anyhting that lasts 500+ degrees is good. normal operating temp for an engine should never be more than 215 or so, so 500+ is fine... check duplicolor
