How do you remove metallic paint pen ink off of a backpack?

Okay, so I decorated my boring old black backpack with a metallic paint pen [color's silver] because I honestly hated how dull it looked and I was thinking of giving it a good wash to start anew or something but instead of wetting it to the bone, I was wondering if there was another alternative to removing the ink? Any suggestions or help? Much thanks! %26lt;3How do you remove metallic paint pen ink off of a backpack?
Do not use nail polish remover. The acetone in it can eat right through many fabric. Check the cleaning instructions on the label of the back pack, and follow them. If you have a lot of ink on it, chances are it won't come out. Be very careful - ink can ';spread'; while being broken up by cleaning agents, and make a bigger mess than what you started with.

And do not use hair spray - someone will surly suggest this to you, and it too can make a bigger mess. How do you remove metallic paint pen ink off of a backpack?
Try rubbing alcohol. Dab it on a cotton ball and then wipe the bag with the cotton ball.
Try nail polish remover it works for ink.
