Can white low luster exterior house paint and /or primer successfully cover silver metallic spray paint?

I'd first sand it a little to rough it up so paint will adhere to it. Usually 150-100 grit is best. Anything higher will probably leave scraches. Use Kilze or Bin primer, which are both stain killers and allow paint to adhere to it.Use a cheap paint brush for the primer because its almost impossible to get out of your brush. Make sure it is covered good with your primer first. Good luck! Can white low luster exterior house paint and /or primer successfully cover silver metallic spray paint?
if you use a proper exterior primer first yes two coast of paint one coat primer will do the jobCan white low luster exterior house paint and /or primer successfully cover silver metallic spray paint?
You can try it. You could also try a product called Kilze. It's great on covering up lots of things including water stains. After it drys, paint what ever color you desire!!
Here鈥檚 how you can do it:

To begin, clean the entire exterior surface. Use a detergent, such as TSP (trisodiumphosphate) and then rinse with clear water. If there is any flaking rust, simply remove using a wire brush.

A light sanding over the entire surface will help paint to adhere better. Clean the surface and dry.

That TSP is great stuff just wear gloves and keep from skin contact and cover surrounding area with a drop cloth. It comes in granules and you mix it with warm water.

The pros always use a white or similiar shade primer especially if you are going from a dark color to a lighter shade. It also allows the new paint to adhere to the surface better.
